Are you ready to get a jump start on your dog's training? With JumpStart! you will see your dog's obedience and behavior improve day by day.
What is JumpStart?
Our most popular program gives your dog all the benefits of one-on-one time with an experienced professional dog trainer, minus the stress of being sent away to a board and train kennel. While you're away at work or running errands, we come to your house and pick your dog up for an hour of one-on-one training. Your dog gets to stay at home with you, so he get training where he needs it most - in your living room, in and around your neighborhood, and at your favorite parks and cafes.
A La Carte:
Individual JumpStart! sessions are available to group class and private lesson clients who would like their dog to receive more one-on-one time with Kim. These sessions are ideal for busy owners who need some help with practicing and polishing obedience exercises or clients who are working with Kim on complex behavior problems. Past clients have chosen JumpStart! sessions for issues as diverse as rock-solid down-stays, off-leash hiking, therapy dog test preparation, severe food aggression and walking politely past a neighbor's barky dog!
Cost: $59.95 per session. A la carte sessions are only available to current clients as an add-on to group classes or private lessons.
Basic Obedience Boot Camp:
During ten one-on-one sessions, your dog will learn:
- Sit
- Down
- Come when called
- Loose leash walking
- Pay attention
You will learn how to maintain your dog's training and solve, or even prevent, common behavior problems during four one-hour private lessons.
Boot camp dogs are entitled to ten days of FREE daycare, socialization and playtime at Southpaws Playschool while they are in the program - a $200 value! With prior arrangement, we can also meet your dog at her favorite doggy daycare or kennel.$795 Add six week Manners and Obedience I class: $100.
Add two weeks of boarding: $560.
Add two weeks of petsitting visits three times per day: $460
Add additional dog: $600.
Behavior Therapy:
JumpStart! is ideal for dogs whose fear, anxiety or aggression issues require intensive professional behavior modification sessions. This program is especially recommended for on-leash aggression and resource guarding (food aggression). Please call to create a custom schedule to get your dog back on the right track.
The Dog Nanny Package:
Have you ever wished for a live-in doggie au pair? This luxury package includes two weeks of intensive training, four private lessons and fourteen nights of house-sitting. This is an excellent choice for clients with heavy travel schedules or owners who are eager to work with Kim but do not live in Austin.
Cost: $3500 (plus travel expenses for clients who live outside of Austin, TX.)
